The reason I chose this article was because it really caught my attention. The title itself just sticks with you and draws you in. I actually like bizarre news, because it takes some light away from politics, war and fiscal drama, and shines it on the little guy. And in this case, I mean that literally.
This article really amazed me. I can't even fathom where one would come up with the idea to harm innocent people. Its news like this that actually gets a decent amount of attention because of the rarity of the situation. And cases like these make me wonder if people commit acts of stupidity for attention.
This is a truly bizarre article. The Huffington Post is known for exaggerating their content in such a way that would catch a lot of peoples attention. Very interesting read but the grammar is a bit off in the article.

I actually came upon this newstory from Peter Dinklage's Golden Globe speech! Nonetheless, I cannot understand how people can find entertainment in dwarf throwing. I have to say that these people are definitely committing these ludicrous acts for attention.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you. This article was posted to gain attention. and as Javier said, it was probably committed for attention as well. I also agree that the grammar was incorrect in the article.
ReplyDeleteThat was an interesting read, I have never heard of the term "dwarf tossing" before and never knew such an action existed. I feel bad for the victim here.
